Offa's Dyke Challenge

DARRYL CARTER : ELITE ATHLETE AND TRIATHLON COACH

I am a Full Time Long-Distance/Ironman Triathlete, Triathlon Coach and Personal Trainer. I have previously raced for GB, and have achieved a sub 9-hour Ironman time (2009). I also enjoy the challenge of ultra-distance races and personal challenges. I came 3rd at the innaugural Double Iron UK and in 2009 tried to run Offas Dyke (178miles) in 48 hrs (injured @ 80miles).

Main sponsors: Elagen Sport, Bike-Science, Infinit Nutrition, Activate4
Support: Spiuk, Zone3, Delucci Retreat, Civil Service Sports Council, Teddington Fitness Centre
Affiliate Coach with: Bike-Science

I have been coaching and providing nutritional advice to clients since 2007. As a coach I enjoy working with people to achieve their own person targets, whether it be to lose weight, to get a little fitter, or train specifically towards a race or season target. I take a balanced development approach to my own and other peoples training programmes, and by using applied principals based on individual requirements and limitations have seen some fantastic results.
